K.B. Sykes
He is the epitome of evil, presenting as an old and weak man, but his thoughts and dreams shows he's still more than capable of chilling and despicable acts. Now, in this time of life, he has the luxury of playing mind games with those who are employed to take care of him. But, is he really playing?
Tom is written with a frighteningly good knowledge of how a killer's mind could work; the main character is well developed and strong, so much so that you could almost believe he exists. The use of the killer's memories to re-capture the horror of the crimes he has committed adds to that as K.B. Sykes doesn't leave anything to the imagination in this quarter.
So, bearing all that in mind, if you're wanting to read horror fiction from a different perspective than the usual then this author is the one to go for. Brilliant!
